I have decided to jump on the Subway Art bandwagon!
I have been meaning to make some art for my laundry room, and finally got around to it this week.
I made a some Subway Art with my personal laundry philosophy.
(My {real} personal laundry philosophy is "Empty your pockets, or it's mine, and God help you if you leave a pen in there and I miss it!" but that is way too long to put on this sign.)
I got this tray at the dollar store a while back, and it has been in my cupboard of things to make over. Finally, it is this guy's turn!
The peaches sign is just paper that was glued on, so I pulled it off (aided by a spritz or two of water) and used a green scrubby to "sand" off the bit that stuck.
Disagree? Want to learn to fold fitted sheets? Here is an instructional video. I find it telling that it was made by a dude...

Thats cute!!! I gave up on fitted sheets when my mom first showed me how. I don't know HOW she gets them folded flat and neat... My husband and I just ball it up and throw it in the closet.. oops, did I say that? lol Most of the time it gets washed and put back on the bed though
ReplyDeleteI love it. That's so true!
ReplyDeleteHaHa I love that quote. Its so true and a your sign is so cute. Thanks for linking up!
ReplyDeleteGreat post! Loving the original, but too long sentiment! Just dropped by to remind you that my Pretty Packages Party starts today...I'd love for you to stop by! http://blackberryvine.blogspot.com/2010/09/pretty-packages-party-2.html
ReplyDeletesmiles!
I save all the fitted sheets for my DH to fold. He can fold them so well that I can't tell a fitted from a flat when they are stacked on the shelf. LOL
ReplyDeleteToo cute! I agree, I don't fold fitted sheets. The *ONLY* time I fold them is when I take the lighter cotton sheets off the beds in the fall to store away, and put on the heavier flannel sheets for cold weather. Then reversing that procedure in the spring. So, I guess I do it, but only 2 times per year!
ReplyDeleteOtherwise, it's wash, dry, and put the sheets right back on the beds!
So true, so true!! My philosophy too!! Great subway art.
ReplyDeleteJust adorable!! Do I have to tell you how I fold my fitted sheets....? You don't really want to know.... lol!
