Who doesn't love an excuse to eat cake?
Today is Jan's official day of birth and as her daughter, I took it upon myself to make her a birthday cake that she would die for. {ok, not really but, really, really like.}
She had a cake recipe bookmarked for months now so, I made it for her. Since the process isnt complete until just before serving, I dont have a picture of the one I made but, it looks just the same so....Here is the most delicious fall time cake recipe ever!
Oh...I think I saw that in one of the Kraft Food and Family magazines! Hope it came out good!!
ReplyDeleteAs the birthday girl and recipient of said CAKE, it was so delish!!! Amazing!! Worth blowing the whole diet GOOD!! Thank you so much loving daughter, you made a perfect autumn cake for my perfect autumn birthday.~xoxo
ReplyDeleteHi Jan,
ReplyDeleteHow funny, watching P & P every Sunday night for a year & 1/2!! My girls and I love to watch Jane Austen on Sunday nights! Except we have watched it so much that now my 10 year old daughter just refuses! NOOOOOOOOO!!!! she yells!! ;)
But I do love it.....I heard the latest BBC version of Persuasion is really good. Have you seen the Jane Eyre? It's right up there too. So sweet ~ a little gloomy at the beginning but such a sweet movie overall.
Very cool blog! I'm off to browse around now. Thanks so much for coming by!

ReplyDeleteShellagh, I love Jane Erye as well. I often start that up on Netflix while I cook dinner.
ReplyDeleteNoelle, Thanks for the b-day wish.
